The Corporation of Insurance Brokers of New Zealand is the main industry-representative body for insurance brokers in New Zealand. It's website provides general 'question and answer' information about what insurance brokers do, how and why to use them, codes of practice and complaint procedures. The site provides a database-driven directory of members and allows visitors to apply to become members. Each CIBNZ member is given a user name and password which they can use to log in to a members' area of the site to obtain information about continuing education and further qualifications, or to change their contact details if necessary. CIBNZ staff can use the site to email news to members.
