General Travel has outlined three suggested tours which incorporate The Ellerslie Flower Show and can be enjoyed on an individual or group basis. Further tour itineraries can also be tailor-made as required. In addition, General Travel will be operating a fully escorted, set departure tour for each of the three itineraries outlined below.

Suggested New Zealand Garden Tours

  Tour One
Day 1 Arrive Auckland. Visit Ellerslie Flower Show, half day. Access to the International Hospitality Marquee.
Day 2 Full day Ellerslie Flower Show.
Day 3 Auckland/Waitomo/New Plymouth, including glow-worm caves.
Day 4 Full day New Plymouth garden visits.
Day 5 New Plymouth/Rotorua - Visit Whaka thermal reserve, Paradise Valley Springs plus evening Maori hangi and concert.
Day 6 Agrodome sheep show/Auckland. Depart New Zealand for your international destination.
 
  Tour Two
Day 1 Arrive Auckland. Visit Ellerslie Flower Show, half day access to the International Hospitality Marquee.
Day 2 Full day Ellerslie Flower Show
Day 3 Auckland/Rotorua. Afternoon sights including Whaka, Agrodome Sheep Show and Paradise Valley Springs, Evening Maori hangi and concert.
Day 4 Fly Rotorua/Queenstown
Day 5 Queenstown - at leisure. Optional: Doubftul or Milford Sound excursion.
Day 6 Queenstown/Dunedin - Afternoon visit to Taiaroa Peninsula and Glenfalloch gardens.
Day 7 Dunedin/Christchurch "Garden City" - Visit local award-winning gardens.
Day 8 Depart New Zealand for your international destination.
 
  Tour Three
Day 1 Arrive Christchurch "Garden City"
Day 2 Full day sights including visits to local award winning gardens.
Day 3 Christchurch/Fairlie - Farmstay experience ona typical New Zealand farm with Kiwi hospitality.
Day 4 Fairlie/Mt Cook/Dunedin - optional flightseeing at Mt Cook.
Day 5 Full day Dunedin sights including visits to Taiaroa Peninsula, Larnoch Castle and Glenfalloch Gardens.
Day 6 Dunedin/Queenstown - Afternoon local sightseeing.
Day 7 Queenstown - at leisure. Optional: Doubtful or Milford Sound day excursion.
